As of March 13, 2026, project was awarded to Zane Grace Construction., awarded amount is $769,534.04 The project consists of approximately 1,100 linear feet of storm drainage pipe 5" -42", associated drainage inlets, head walls, approximately 980 linear feet of grading to construct an outfall ditch, approximately 4,400 linear feet of curb and gutter, approximately 300 tons of asphalt leveling and resurfacing, pavement widening, grading, sediment and erosion control, and related work. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the bid form. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with instructions to bidders. Bidding documents are available electronically for a non-refundable charge. Bids will not be accepted from prospective bidders not on record with the issuing office as having purchased and received a complete set of bidding documents. If awarded, the successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, from sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 and licensed in the State of Georgia. Permits are expected to be approved prior to bid opening. Acquisition of property for easements and right of way is expected to be completed after the bid date.
