Provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and services required for performing tree maintenance work in the Town of Stratford. The work includes tree and stump removal services, to be executed according to accepted industry standards and procedures. Trees must be removed with care to prevent damage to adjacent properties, and all debris, logs, and brush must be removed and disposed of properly. Stumps and bracing roots must be ground at least six inches below grade, and the area restored with topsoil and reseeded as directed. All equipment and work must comply with current safety standards, and the contractor is responsible for pedestrian and vehicular safety at work sites. The contractor must secure all necessary permits and licenses, is responsible for cleanup, and must coordinate work with Town representatives. Emergency service must be available with a response within three hours. All subcontractors must be approved by the Town. Bid proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, include a price proposal, references, and a list of subcontractors, and comply with all specified terms and conditions.
