The Kent County Purchasing Division is seeking quotations for the relocation of the Johnson Park exit drive . The scope includes demolition, general, grading, and layout notes, and specifications as listed in the project plans (Exhibit A). All work must comply with Division 2-9 of the most current Michigan DOT Standard Specifications for Construction. Respondents are responsible for verifying dimensions provided for general reference. Submissions must be completed and received by the specified due date and time. All submissions should include a single, non-password protected PDF document. Respondents must use the Submission Form found on the Bid Opportunities page, and if applicable, include a Bid Bond. Deviations from specifications will be considered only if clearly detailed in the submission. Submissions are irrevocable for 45 days from the due date/time. Withdrawals must be requested in writing prior to the due date/time. For contracts over $50,000, both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price, are required. All goods must include the original manufacturer warranty and any additional specified warranties. Any communication regarding the solicitation should be through the Kent County Purchasing Division Inquiry Blog. Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract.
