Contractors shall provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision to perform Fire and Smoke Door Inspection and Repair Services at Jesse Brown VAMC. The scope includes conducting a 15-point NFPA 80-101 inspection and inventory of 585 door openings across multiple buildings (Bldg. 40, Bldg. 1A, 1B, 1C, and Bldg. 11A, 11B). Small repairs will be completed during the inspection to ensure compliance, including installation of mutes, repairing small holes in doors/frames, door closer adjustments, removal of excessive signage, removal of material from glazing, replacing missing screws, and installation of hinge filler plates. After inspections, a comprehensive report must be provided, detailing a full inventory of all assets, overall pass/fail status of barrier assemblies, and a list of repairs needed for compliance. Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
