Renovation of a library in Waukegan, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Waukegan Public Library is accepting sealed lump sum bids for the AHU Replacement Project. Bids must be in accordance with the Bid Proposal Forms, Instructions and Scope of Work, and Construction Documents. All bids must also be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount. The Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid from the lowest responsive, responsible bidder that is considered to be in the best interest of the Library. Project Site: The location of the project site referenced herein is the Waukegan Public Library at 128 North County Street Waukegan, IL 60085 Project Summary The project consists of replacing indoor air handling units with new packaged rooftop units. The owner will contract separately for asbestos abatement prior to the start of this project. Note: ALL other required related incidental work for the HVAC work shall be included such as electrical work, controls, patching and restoration, structural work, roof work, finishes or any other building elements that require selective demolition/replacement as a result of the general scope of HVAC work. all questions regarding procedure or the documents shall be submitted in writing to Tiffany Nash at tnash@product-architects.com. No verbal instructions shall be construed as a change to the documents. Final day to receive questions will be end of day, Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
