**As of March 12th, 2026, the project was awarded to KD Landscape Inc, with an awarded amount of $237,116.55** The Waukegan Park District invites bids for the 2026 Rose Park Sport Court Renovation. Bid documents, including instructions, drawings, specifications, general and special conditions, bid forms, contractor certifications, and prevailing wage determinations are available electronically or by contacting the Parks Department. Each bid must be sealed, clearly marked, and delivered to the specified address. Bids must be received by 11:00 AM on the specified date, after which they will be publicly opened. Late submissions or misdelivered bids will be rejected. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities and accept or reject any or all bids, or portions thereof. The contract will be awarded to the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder, considering factors such as labor experience, financial capability, and performance on past projects. Bids should exclude federal excise and state sales taxes for materials used in the work; a tax exemption certificate can be provided upon request. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after opening. The project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, and contractors must pay workers at or above the determined prevailing wage rates.
