New construction, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Lemont, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for the addition of a fire / police facility; and for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
All trade bidders are invited to submit competitive public trade bid proposals for construction and renovation services required for the New Fire Station One, renovation/addition for Fire Station Three, and renovation/addition to Fire Station Four. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies, requiring all workers engaged in construction and renovation of these stations to be paid not less than applicable prevailing wage rates. Bidders must minimally provide insurance coverage per the instructions to bidders. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, including any alternates considered, to waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable for the best interest of the Lemont Fire Protection District.
