Pre-Bid questions are to be submitted via email to John Tondelli - Project Manager for HBCMS; jtondelli@henrybros.com The following changes, modifications, or clarifications are hereby incorporated and made an integral part of the Contract Documents. Unless clearly expressed otherwise by this Addendum, all terms and conditions defined in the original Contract Documents shall continue in full force and effect and shall have the same meaning in this Addendum. Issued Addenda represents responses/clarifications to various inquires. Contractors shall be responsible for including all associated labor/material costs in its bid. Drawings/specifications corresponding to inquiry responses will be issued with the Issue for Construction Documents, upon issuance of building permit. Sealed bids are requested for the Core and Centennial Additions and Renovations for the Lemont Park District. Lump sum bid proposals are to be submitted, accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Lemont Park District. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening without the Owner's consent. Unsuccessful Bidders' securities will be returned after bid checking. The successful Bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount, both acceptable to the Owner. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, clearly marked as SEALED BID, and addressed as specified. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or to waive irregularities or informalities. This contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Each Bidder is required to complete the qualification process in Section 004395 - General Requirements of the Project Manual by providing Qualification Documents with the sealed bid, at the designated place and time. Qualification Documents will be reviewed to determine the lowest responsible Bidder and will be available for public review. Bidding documents, including drawings and project manuals plus any addenda, can be obtained electronically or reproduced at the Bidder's expense from BHFX Imaging. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting walk-through will be held as specified, after which all contractors must visit the site, gather information, and ask questions. Only one walk-through will be scheduled, and attendance will be recorded. Non-attendance may result in rejection of the bid.
