The work consists of all labor and material necessary for construction of the Public Works Annex Site Improvements located at 12421 S Archer Ave. Lemont, IL. The work includes, but is not limited to, site grading, hot-mix asphalt paving, fencing, site lighting, water and sewer connections for a pole barn structure, construction of concrete walls for material storage, and site landscaping. Only qualified contractors will be allowed to receive plans and bid on this project. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total base bid. The successful bidder must furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of 110% of the contract price. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. Submission of a bid is conclusive assurance and warranty that the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for performance of the work.
