The project involves the removal of the existing three-span HC girder bridge and installation of a new three-span SL-510 concrete girder bridge. Bridge File 01966 (SW 14-38-25-W4M) Carrying Range Road 252 over Jones Creek, 20 km E of Red Deer. Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing three span 6.1 - 6.1 - 6.1 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new three span 6.0 - 8.0 - 6.0 m SL-510 concrete girder bridge on a steel substructure. The crossing is located on a local road over Jones Creek, 20 km east of Red Deer. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience.
