Reference Number 0000408999 Question Deadline 02/19/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes, Any questions should be directed to Meredith Bonds-Harmon, Library Director at mbondsharmon@eastprovidenceri.gov and Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist at jlamprey@eastprovidenceri.gov The Department of Planning and Economic Development, East Providence Public Library, Mayor DaSilva, and the East Providence Tree Commission, in partnership with the East Providence Arts Council, invite sculptors, artists and artisans to submit proposals for the design and transformation of the remaining stump and trunk of our iconic, historic Copper Beech Tree on the Weaver Library lawn. The goal is to honor this majestic tree with a sculpture that makes the library lawn a destination for all ages. General Requirements - Insurance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award The City reserves the right to waive any informality in order to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The budget range for this project is between $6,000-$12,000 depending on the artist's experience level, project scope and complexity, and time and materials *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
