Site work and paving for a road / highway in Caledonia, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and road / highway.
The work can be generally described as the resurfacing of roads in the Village. Roads may require full-width milling, partial milling, full width overlay, and binder repair. The bid also includes the placement of binder and surface on brand new subdivision roads in coordination with the developer. A portion of this project is being funded utilizing the WisDOT LRIP. The roads will be part of the overall paving project and called out specifically on the bid documents and map. All work under this contract shall be in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, current edition and this project’s special conditions. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and on a unit price basis. Pre-qualification of bidders is required. Bidder’s prequalification forms will be issued with the bid documents. Forms shall be received via email only to the Village Engineer by 2:00pm on January 23rd, 2026. No bids will be accepted from any bidder who has not submitted a statement of bidder’s qualifications. The owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. All proposals shall be submitted on a form provided for the purpose. Bid security is required and shall be provided in accordance with the instruction to bidders - Section 6 - Bid Guarantee.
