Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
The Owner will receive Lump Sum Bids to furnish all labor and materials to complete the construction of the Elliott County Emergency Operations Center project located. The Project is to be complete within 330 calendar days from the date of the official Notice to Proceed. The Project includes acceptance of all general construction work specified in the Contract Documents. Liquidated damages will be assessed per the Special Conditions at $ 1,000.00 per calendar day if substantial completion is not achieved by the established completion date in the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the owner in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. The award of the contract shall be made on the basis of the lowest and best bid in the interest of Elliott County Fiscal Court. No bidder may withdraw his / her bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and shall have the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. This project is subject to BABA requirements. All questions pertaining to plans and specifications during the bidding period shall be submitted via email to Steven Kersey at: skersey@kerseyandkersey.com, with a copy to the Project Manager, Leigh Shader, at lshader@kerseyandkersey.com. All questions pertaining to AMLER Grant shall be directed to: Jon Brooks, Grant Administrator: jbrooks@fahe.org Question Deadline 02/10/2026 Doc note: Fee payable to Lynn Imaging. No partial sets will be issued. If documents are to be mailed, an additional non-refundable charge per set is required. The successful bidder is responsible for all additional sets they may require. All questions shall be submitted in writing no later than Ten (10) days prior to the established bid date. Any responses to Bidder questions shall be addresses by Addendum.
