Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for weekly mowing at two treatment facilities, weekly mowing at 28 pump stations, including trimming, weeding, herbicide application, and leaf removal as specified for May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2028. Mowing specifications require grass to be maintained at a minimum height of two inches to a maximum of three inches, with no more than one-third of the grass leaf cut in any one mowing. Other requirements include trash pickup before mowing, avoiding damage to new sod or seeded areas, not mowing when the grass is wet, and maintaining a high quality groomed appearance throughout the year. Trimming and edging must be performed with each mowing, taking care to avoid damage to trees and shrubs. Cleanup of waste materials and debris is required. Herbicide application, leaf pickup, and mulching must be conducted as specified by the owner. The contractor is responsible for lawn damage and erosion repair. All work must comply with OSHA regulations and applicable state laws. Work at pump stations can also be performed on Saturday or Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly identified as a bid for the specified services, using the required bid form, with all blank spaces for bid prices filled in. Only one copy of the bid form is required. The owner may reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site during the pre-bid conference. The contractor must furnish certificates of insurance for specified types and amounts. The owner may select any one area, all areas, or any combination of areas to be serviced, and may accept the bid in part or in its entirety. The contractor must provide three service references and comply with personnel standards, including ensuring employees have good character and can communicate in English as required for safety and instructions.
