Site work for a water / sewer project in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project includes rehabilitation of sanitary interceptor and collector sewers (point repairs) anticipated to occur in 2026 to 2028. Point repairs include but are not limited to pipe installation and repairs, manhole replacement and rehabilitation, service connection repairs, pavement removal and replacement, backfilling and other miscellaneous related work throughout UCSD's service areas. All of the sewers under this project belong to the Urbana and Champaign Sanitary District. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Administration Building, Urbana and Champaign Sanitary District, 1100 East University Avenue, Urbana, Illinois, prior to the specified closing time. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as "2026-2028 Miscellaneous Sewer Repair Project," and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the Bidder and the Bidder's address. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Urbana and Champaign Sanitary District, P. O. Box 669, Urbana, Illinois 61803-0669. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Bidders shall carefully examine the Contract Documents, fully inform themselves of all existing conditions and limitations, and include in their Bid the cost of all items included in the Contract Documents. All Bids must be made on the required Bid Form. All blank spaces for Bid prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, and the Bid Form must be fully completed and executed when submitted. Only one copy of the Bid form is required. The Proposal Guarantee shall accompany the Bid. Do not submit the entire Specification booklet. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to see that the Bid is received in proper time. The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all Bids. Any Bid may be modified or withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Bidder.
