The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to furnish and install landscape beautification improvements along SR 817/NW 27 Avenue from NW 151 Street to NW 165 Street within the City of Miami Gardens. All work shall conform to the project plans and specifications Attached in "Attachment A", and must comply with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Landscape Installation a. Furnish and install trees, palms, shrubs, sod, groundcovers, and mulch as specified in the approved plans. b. Ensure all plant materials are new, healthy, and meet FDOT quality standards. c. Install materialsin a manner that does not obstruct roadway visibility,signage, or advertising view zones. 2. Irrigation a. Furnish and install irrigation systems as specified in the plans. b. Provide all connections to water and electrical sources, as necessary. c. Ensure full functionality and testing of irrigation prior to project completion. 3. Traffic Control and Safety a. Develop and implement a Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan in accordance with FDOT standards and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). b. Coordinate any lane closures with FDOT and provide notice to law enforcement and the FDOT Public Information Office a minimum of 48 hours in advance. c. Maintain pedestrian and ADA accessibility at all times. 4. Utility Coordination a. Identify and protect all utilities within the project limits. b. Coordinate directly with utility providers to resolve conflicts before installation.
