Santa Rosa County District Schools is requesting proposals for air filter replacement services at various locations throughout the District, including any additional sites that may become part of the District during the contract term. Services include furnishing and installing filters of correct dimensions and capacity according to provided specifications, changing filters on a predetermined service cycle, disposal of replaced filters and associated products off site, installation of spacers if required to prevent air bypass, cleaning/washing and reinstalling permanent filters as needed, securing filter panels and doors after servicing, and obtaining authorized signatures upon completion of each service. The contractor is also required to provide filter frames not owned by the District, advise in writing of any unusual findings during service, and ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements. General instructions to bidders include: submission of ASHRAE 52-76 performance test reports for pleated filters, provision of references, adherence to background checks, insurance, and security badge requirements, electronic submission process, and compliance with workplace conduct, parking, uniform, and safety policies. Work hours are specified as 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise agreed. The contractor must use their own ladders and tools, check in with the school office before starting work, and maintain satisfactory standards of employee conduct and appearance.
