The successful respondent shall provide Tree Maintenance Services in accordance with the contract requirements and model contract, including all relevant attachments. Respondents are required to examine the contract documents and the site of the proposed work before submitting a proposal. They must investigate the conditions to be encountered, the character, quality, and quantities of work to be performed, and materials to be furnished, as well as the requirements of all contract documents. All responses must be concise, typewritten or word-processed, and fully address each requirement and question. The proposal must adhere strictly to all requirements and compliance must be stated within. Deviations, clarifications, or exceptions must be clearly identified and listed separately for consideration. Pre-contractual expenses are not to be included in the cost proposal. Each respondent must provide all required licensing, demonstrate relevant experience, and provide references, as detailed in the requirements. The County retains the right to conduct negotiations, request clarifications, reject proposals, and make awards in the best interests of the County. All proposals and supporting documents are subject to public record laws and are not to be marked confidential or proprietary. Communication regarding the solicitation is limited to the designated Deputy Purchasing Agent.
