Renovation of a power facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Provide the material, equipment, tools, and labor for the modernization of the PRT Boiler Plant located in Morgantown, WV. The work includes the modernization of the electrical, mechanical, and control systems of three heating plants that serve three separate sections of the embedded guideway heating system, which uses gas-fired boilers to heat a 50% glycol/water solution to melt snow and ice on concrete running surfaces. All existing boilers at each plant shall remain and not be replaced. The Supplier is responsible for all demolition, new work, commissioning, and associated coordination, as well as the removal, recovery, storage, and replacement of the existing glycol solution within each system loop, according to the attached drawings and specifications. Required documentation must be submitted under SUPPLIER ATTACHMENTS with the response. Questions must be submitted directly on the solicitation website on the Q&A Board. Addenda will be posted on the Q&A Board. Bid responses must be submitted directly on the website in PDF format, preferably as a singular PDF. Contractors must read and comply with the WVU EH&S Contractor Safety Program. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 at 12:00 PM ET
