Hausmann Construction is soliciting qualifications for subcontractors interested in providing bids for the Le Mars CSD Elementary School BP #3. The work involves steel supply, steel and precast erection, mass timber erection, building concrete including footings, foundations and slabs, rammed aggregate piers, geothermal well fields, and elevators. Subcontractors must first submit their qualifications for review. The project includes a new 176,000 SF facility with classroom wings for Kindergarten through 5th grade, a new competition gym, two auxiliary gyms, cafeteria, commons, media center, Pre-K wing, and other support spaces, along with site improvements such as parking lots, bus loop, bus drop-off, playgrounds, and site utilities. All construction activities include earthwork, preparing the grade, utility connections, a geothermal well field, precast, glazing, metal panels, structural steel and Mass Timber interiors, hard surfacing, playgrounds, a loading dock, and landscaping. Subcontractors must submit a Statement of Qualifications that addresses: firm experience and technical competence, key personnel, capability to perform, safety, familiarity with the project location, and confirmation of no material objections to the subcontract agreement. The submission should include firm experience, relevant project references, personnel details, workload, safety record, regional experience, and acceptance of subcontract terms.
