A. The Work described in these documents shall be conducted under a single prime contract. The following is a general description of the Work included. B. The project makes several improvements to the water distribution system. The project highlights include but are not limited to the following items: 1. Installation of approximately 3,007 LF 6-in restrained joint and poly wrapped ductile iron pipe. 2. Approximately 74 service tie-overs to the new main. 3. Grout filling/retire in place of approximately 2,758 LF 6-in cast iron pipe. 4. Removal and disposal of approximately 230 LF 6-in transite (AC) pipe. C. The Work is located at the following location(s): 1. City of Sparks, Washoe County, Nevada, generally in the area of L Street between Pyramid Way and Stanford Ave, and 5th Street between L Street and Greenbrae Avenue. The work is contained within streets and public right-of way owned by the City of Sparks. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the installation of approximately 3000 linear feet of 6-inch restrained joint ductile iron pipe, abandonment of 2758 linear feet of 6-inch cast iron pipe, and removal of 230 linear feet of 6-inch asbestos cement (transite) pipe. The project includes approximately 74 service tie-overs and will take place on L Street between Pyramid and Stanford and on 5th Street from L Street to Greenbrae.
