Renovation of a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 0-square-foot, 0-story below grade water / sewer project.
The work under the contract includes the supply and installation of new outdoor switchgear, utility metering, and underground cabling at the Aubrey Flood and Lift Pumping Station (5kV switchgear), Hart Flood and Lift Pumping Station (5kV switchgear), Polson Flood Pumping Station (15kV switchgear), and St. Johns Flood Pumping Station (15kV switchgear). Major components include outdoor switchgear installation and associated electrical upgrades, coordination of Manitoba Hydro's work on cable installation from the utility pole to medium voltage switchgear, installation of new metering and metering transformers, switchgear concrete pad installation, grounding upgrades, excavation, shoring and backfilling as required, site restoration and clean up, and adjusting breaker and relay settings based on a protection coordination study as supplied to the contractor. All other work as detailed in the drawings and technical specifications is also included. The contract is subject to the City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy and the Universal Design Policy.
