The work consists of the replacement of gymnasium bleachers at two schools: ÉSC Nouvelle-Alliance in Barrie, ON, and ÉSC Père-René-de-Galinée in Cambridge, ON. The scope of work and deliverables include the removal and disposal of existing bleachers, supply and installation of new custom-fit bleacher systems, all required anchorage, electrical supply and controls including ESA certification, patching, painting, floor protection, testing, commissioning, staff training, and provision of warranty and closeout documentation. The contractor is responsible for coordinating all activities including electrical work, inspections, testing, training, and handover to ensure the project is completed by the required substantial completion date. Bidders must submit a completed submission form, pricing information, a company background (including at least five years of relevant experience and details of similar past projects), equipment compliance documentation (manufacturer technical specifications and product data sheets), a statement confirming their ability to meet the project schedule, a list of proposed subcontractors, HST registration number, and WSIB number. The successful proponent will be required to provide proof of insurance, WSIB clearance, and police criminal check compliance upon contract award. All pricing should be inclusive of all costs required to complete the work. The proposed bleachers must comply with all applicable building codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
