Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work consists of the installation of a new concrete basketball court and ADA sidewalk at Johnston Park, 701 Goldenview Drive, Champaign IL 61821, per provided specifications. Work includes all labor, supervision, and appropriate equipment for park development, including grading, landscaping, concrete work, furnishing, and playground installation. Site work is limited to the development area as shown on bid drawings and addenda. The contractor must practice stormwater and erosion best practices, keep the site clean during the course of work, dispose of debris off-site, exhibit heightened security and safety practices, and limit activity outside the work area to minimize soil compaction. Grading and site restoration require maximizing cut/fill ratios, ensuring positive drainage, and obtaining district approval of rough grades before proceeding. Seeding, rough grading, concrete work (including excavation, base preparation, forming, placing, finishing, jointing, and curing), finish grading, striping, and installation of goals are included in the scope. The work must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, prevailing wage requirements, and affirmative action practices. Submission of required forms and bonds are stipulated.
