**As of March 4, 2026, the project was awarded to Visu Sewer, with an awarded amount of $319,645.53.** The work consists of internal closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of both sanitary and storm sewers, including preparatory cleaning, disposal of debris, bypass pumping, traffic control, completion and submittal of inspection logs, 360-degree manhole inspection, hydroexcavation to locate utilities, and associated reporting with each item. The work also includes dyed-water flooding of storm sewers parallel to and/or crossing the sanitary sewers, concurrent with the CCTV inspection of the sanitary sewers. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment and appurtenances to complete the preparatory cleaning, dyed-water flooding, and CCTV inspection to obtain a clear video of the sewer interior. Cleaning, root cutting, and heavy cleaning are to be performed as necessary and as directed. Traffic control and safe disposal of all material are required. Hydroexcavation shall be used to expose utilities in a non-destructive manner to verify horizontal and vertical location prior to construction activities. All exposed utilities must be documented and protected. Deliverables include videos, logs, maps compatible with the Village’s GIS, and CAD files as specified. All work must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act and other relevant statutes. Instructions to bidders include the requirement that all bids be sealed, accompanied by a bid bond not less than five percent of the total bid, and that exceptions to specifications must be clearly indicated. The successful bidder must furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the bid. No substitutions are allowed without written consent.
