Town of Twin Bridges Well Redevelopment and Pump Replacement Bidders are required to submit their bids according to all terms and conditions specified, including those related to bid security, bonds, and insurance. Bidders must be familiar with all applicable laws, regulations, site conditions, and requirements described in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be completed and submitted, with proper bid security, by the date and time specified. Bids received late or not submitted as prescribed will not be considered. Bidders may withdraw or modify their bids before the opening as specified. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period stated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. The evaluation of bids will consider compliance with prescribed requirements, and the comparison of bid prices for base bid and alternates as listed. Bidder qualifications and subcontractor information may be evaluated. The successful bidder must execute and deliver the required agreement, bonds, and insurance within the period specified after the Notice of Award. Bidders must comply with all state laws, wage requirements, disadvantaged business enterprise requirements, debarment certification, and all applicable federal funding regulations. The project consists of removing the existing line shaft turbine pumps and motors at each well, performing down-hole video surveys of the well casing and screen before and after well redevelopment, pumping tests before and after well redevelopment, conducting one or more redevelopment activities as specified herein, providing and installing new submersible pumps, wiring, columns, sounding tubes, and performing pumping tests to verify pump operation, well performance, and estimate aquifer parameters, and furnishing and installing a new flow meter and piping appurtenances at each well house.
