Reference number: 20116560 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-01-26 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender no Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 5 Contractors are advised that a site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting point for this visit is 5285 Albert Tessier Avenue, Shawinigan, Quebec, G9N 7K7. All bidders, general contractors and subcontractors will be deemed to have visited the site, and no claims based on lack of knowledge of the site will be submitted or accepted. Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque made payable to the Centre de services scolaire de l'Energie for ten per cent (10%) of the bid amount, or a bid bond for the same amount, valid for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of bids. This tender bond must be exchanged upon signing the contract for a performance bond and a bond guaranteeing obligations for wages, materials and services, as mentioned in the general conditions of the tender documents. When these bonds are in the form of a surety bond, the amount of each bond corresponds to 50% of the contract price, and when they are in the form of a certified cheque, the amount of each bond corresponds to 10% of the contract price. Only bids from contractors whose principal place of business is in Quebec and who hold, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B.-1.1) will be considered for the award of the contract.
