Sealed bids are invited for the Scattered Sidewalk Program Repair and Restoration as set forth in the prepared drawings and specifications. All work must comply with the requirements of funding sources and is located within a Community Development Eligible Area. Specifications and contracts are subject to state and federal laws and regulations. Each bidder must submit with the bid a security deposit not less than five percent of the base bid as a certified check or bid bond. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, Federal Labor Standards, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Executive Orders related to minority and women business participation, and the New York State Executive Law is mandatory. Any contractor or subcontractor entering into a construction contract valued over $100,000.00 must have an apprenticeship agreement registered with the NYS Commissioner of Labor. All laborers, workers, and mechanics on public work projects of at least $250,000.00 must be certified as having completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive irregularities as may be required.
