The City of Weston, Florida, and Indian Trace Development District are accepting sealed proposals for Parks Maintenance Services for Parks Group B, which includes Tequesta Trace Park, Indian Trace Park, Eagle Point Park, Town Center Park, and North Walking Trail. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and all other necessary incidentals required to perform complete maintenance and operations of the CITY’s parks. Scope of work includes maintenance of sports fields (natural and artificial turf), landscaping and irrigation, litter, trash and recyclables collection and receptacle maintenance, litter maintenance of park facilities (shelters, skate parks, hockey rinks, sand volleyball courts, outdoor basketball courts), and parks operations (gates, restroom buildings opening/closure, operation of sports field lighting). Proposers must have a minimum of five years’ experience in providing similar park maintenance services, be in continuous operation for at least five years, and have a resident branch office in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County, Florida. All staff must have required state and local licenses and registrations. A performance and payment bond of $600,000 and a proposal security bond or cashier’s check of $5,000 must be provided. Proposals must be submitted in PDF format, WCAG 2.1, Level AA, ADA compliant. All communications regarding the RFP are subject to a cone of silence prohibiting certain contacts. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and request additional information as appropriate.
