This project is funded through BRIC22-0010 with a total budget of $176,388 The Town of Rockport is seeking proposals for Coastal Wastewater Vulnerability Assessment. Selected engineers will provide professional engineering services related to coastal resilience and enhancement, climate change and sea level rise, and storm damage reduction as it pertains to wastewater infrastructure. This will include both near term assessment and long term conceptual design. Additional services may include technical and administrative support for the Town through various State and Federal assistance and grant programs. Interested proposers must demonstrate experience with various public funding sources and coordination with other public agencies. The proposed project team must include a professional engineer registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal tendered. Procurement for engineering services for this project is not subject to nor governed by Massachusetts General Law, but is subject to all applicable federal procurement standards including but not necessarily limited to 2 CFR 200: Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Selection of a consulting firm will be made by an assigned selection committee and the Town of Rockport Department of Public Works. Engineering services for the Project will be governed by the scope of the awarded BRIC Grant through FEMA. Engineering services are outlined in more detail in the attached scope of work section within this Request for Proposals (RFP) The town must complete the work included in the scope of work set in the BRIC contract by 3/31/2026
