Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockport, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade road / highway.
**As of January 14th, 2026, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available.** The work includes, but is not limited to, road grinding, coldplaning, fine grading, resurfacing, paving, granite curb installation, sidewalk and sidewalk curb ramp construction and reconstruction, roadway striping, and other related work on various roads to be determined by the Town in Rockport, MA. The contract is for one year, with an option for two additional one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the Town. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The overall estimated cost is $668,650 per year, with a total potential contract value of $2,005,950. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. Bidders must be listed on the official Mass Highway Prequalified Contractor List, with the class of work under Highway Construction. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept what is deemed in the Town's best interest. The procurement will be conducted under M.G.L. c. 30, 39M.
