**As of February 18, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Town of Burlington, Connecticut is seeking sealed bids for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for the Replacement of Bridge No. 020-002 Alpine Drive over an unnamed stream. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE PRE-QUALIFIED BY THE CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR GROUP NO. 8 - MINOR BRIDGES CONSTRUCTION OR GROUP NO. 8A - BOX CULVERTS. BRIDGE NO. 020-002 All proposals must be on the form furnished by the Town of Burlington and must be requested for the project. Each bidder must deposit with their bid a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid; a certified check is not accepted in lieu of a bid bond. The successful contractor shall be required to furnish 100% Performance and Labor and Material bonds and proof of required insurance coverage. A Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract sum shall be required after completion of the work and prior to final payment. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Minimum wage rates as required under the contract must be paid. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids should it be in the Town's best interest. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
