Generally, the work includes removing existing carpet flooring and installing new LVT flooring and wall base at various locations at Eastview Elementary School and at Westview Elementary School. EASTVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1490 East Myrtle Canton, Illinois 61520 WESTVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 700 Old West Vine Street Canton, Illinois 61520 Sealed bids are invited for the 5901-416 Canton EV & WV Flooring Replacement - Phase 2 project at Eastview Elementary School and Westview Elementary School in Canton, Illinois. The work generally includes removing existing carpet flooring and installing new LVT flooring and wall base at various locations in both schools. Specifications and drawings are available from the Office of the Architect or online. All work is subject to applicable state and federal laws, including the "Preference to Citizens (Illinois) on Public Works Projects Act" and the Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must submit a notarized certification confirming they are not barred from bidding due to certain legal violations. Bids require a 5% bid bond and the successful bidder will provide a Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract cost. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening of bids.
