Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Brooklyn, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required for the partial renovation of computer rooms located in multiple buildings including NAMM Hall, Library, General, and Voorhees Buildings. The scope includes partial demolition of walls, ceilings, and lighting in these spaces. New construction consists of several new walls, doors and soffits, new ceilings and lighting, new flooring and replacement of finishes, new furniture including selected custom-designed booths for private study, and selected MEP infrastructure improvements as identified in the drawings. This project will be completed in two phases as identified in the summary schedule in the bid documents. The successful low bidder will be required to execute a Project Labor Agreement (PLA), and all subcontractors at every tier must agree to be bound by the PLA. Vernon Construction & Development LLC is seeking proposals from qualified MWBE & SDVOB subcontractors and suppliers for the following trades: selective demolition, asbestos, lead abatement, hydraulic cement underlayment, firestopping and joint sealants, doors & hardware, glazing, carpentry, drywall, framing, ceilings, flooring, painting, tackable wall panels, epoxy resin, decorative wall panels, carpet tile, operable partitions, fire extinguishers and cabinets, window shades, systems furniture, sound conditioned room, fire suppression, HVAC, electrical, teledata and communication, and electronic safety and security.
