The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work connected with the construction of a new terminal building, parking area, demolition of the existing terminal, and airfield apron paving. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be sealed and submitted to the City of Rockwood, Tennessee. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond from a Surety Company acceptable to the Owner or a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City of Rockwood for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. A 100% contract bond will be required upon a successful bid. Proposals are required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for the duration outlined in General Contract Provisions 30-02. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and technicalities, and accept any bid in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders are responsible for compliance with Federal and State requirements for preparation and submission. The successful bidder shall comply with all Federal and State requirements in the Contract Agreement. Envelopes must be sealed and marked with the Contractor's name, classification, expiration date, and the project title. Contractors must have a valid Tennessee Contractor License Number by the project commencement date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
