Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Columbus, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Commissioners Court of Colorado County, Texas, will accept sealed bids for a bridge construction project on County Road 215 at Dowdy Creek, Precinct Two, Colorado County. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Plans and specifications are available in the office of the County Judge or on the County's website. All bidders must submit with their bid a cashier's check or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the order of Colorado County, or a Bid Bond in the same amount issued by a surety acceptable to Colorado County and authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The Commissioners Court reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive formalities on bidding and act in the best interest of the County. It is the intent of the County of Colorado to contract for only materials, equipment, tools, services, labor and supervision necessary to construct bridge on COUNTY ROAD 215 @ DOWDY CREEK as specified herein. No interpretation of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other bid documents will be made to any bidder orally.
