Bids shall be submitted to the Office of the County Judge, Colorado County Courthouse, 400 Spring St., Room 107, Columbus, Texas 78934. Bidders shall include in their bid proof of Workers’ Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance Coverage in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000). The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond if the contract is in excess of $100,000 and a Payment Bond if the contract is in excess of $25,000. For those contracts for road paving that are $50,000 or less no money will be paid to the Contractor until completion and acceptance of the work. Bidders will be required to provide a bid bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bidder will use lump sum or unit pricing as per specifications. Payment will be made upon receipt of invoice after delivery and proper processing by Commissioners Court. Colorado County reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to reject any and all bids and to accept any bid advantageous to the County.
