Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Columbus, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are invited for a bridge construction project on Zimmerscheidt Road at Low Water Crossing #1, Precinct No. 3. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Zimmerscheidt Road Bridge" and delivered to the designated office. Specifications are available at the County Judge's Office or the County's website. Bidders must include required supplemental information as outlined in the specifications. A cashier's check or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to Colorado County, or a Bid Bond in the same amount issued by a surety authorized to do business in Texas, must be submitted with the bid. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to act in its best interest. It is the intent of the County of Colorado to contract for only materials, equipment, tools, services, labor and supervision necessary to construct bridge on ZIMMERSCHEIDT ROAD @ LOW WATER CROSSING #1 as specified herein. No interpretation of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. All requests for such interpretations must be made in writing addressed to Commissioner Keith Neuendorff, 1501 FM 109, New Ulm, TX 78950, (979) 732-3270, email keith.neuendorff@co.colorado.tx.us.
