Bids shall be submitted to the Office of the County Judge. Specifications can be obtained from the County Judge's Office or from the county’s website. Bidders must include proof of Workers’ Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance Coverage in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) in their bid. If the contract exceeds $100,000, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond. If the contract exceeds $25,000, a Payment Bond is required. For road paving contracts of $50,000 or less, no money will be paid to the Contractor until completion and acceptance of the work. Bidders are required to provide a bid bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bids must use lump sum or unit pricing as specified. Payment will be made upon receipt of invoice after delivery and proper processing by Commissioners Court. The county reserves the right to waive technicalities, reject any and all bids, and accept any bid advantageous to the County.
