Sealed bids are requested for the complete construction of the Interior Renovations for the Hillsborough Township Police Department located at 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, including all incidental work in accordance with prepared Drawings and Specifications. The contract encompasses all work and materials required to complete the project as a Single Overall Contract Bid. Bids must include all applicable unit prices and numbered alternate bids. Bidders are required to use the prepared Bid Proposal Form, and proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope that is appropriately marked with the bidder's name, address, and the contract name. Bids must be delivered by hand or mail to the designated address and received by the specified deadline. Instructions to Bidders, bid forms, specifications, drawings, and other contract documents are available for examination at the architect's office or can be obtained in digital or printed form as detailed in the procurement notice. Bid proposals should be clear, free of erasures or markings that create doubt, and signed by an authorized person. Bidders must comply with New Jersey Business Registration, Affirmative Action Rule, Statement of Business Ownership, and Public Works Contractor Registration requirements. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, is required with the bid, payable to Hillsborough Township. A Consent of Surety from a licensed surety company is also required, stating that a performance/payment bond will be provided. Instructions must be followed exactly or the bid may be declared non-responsive. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening date. Minimum prevailing wage rates and conditions of employment apply as specified. QA final Date - Jan 30, 2026 added as per PBMM. The Architect noted that the deadline for all RFIs in order to get them answered in an addendum which will be issued on February 4, 2026
