Site work for a water / sewer project in Parks, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope consists of drainage improvements to the outfall at Olivier Lane and Stephanie Drive and other miscellaneous work. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be received prior to the deadline. Each bid must include a bid bond or equivalent guarantee of 5% of the bid price. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each not less than 100% of the contract price. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible bid that complies with specifications. Bids exceeding $50,000 will only be considered from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractor’s Licensing Law with the proper classification of Municipal and Public Works Construction. The City encourages participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contract documents can be examined or obtained at the office of the engineer upon payment. Refunds are available for documents returned within ten days after the bid opening, subject to conditions outlined for prime bidders and other bidders. Plans and specifications are available until twenty-four hours before the bid opening date. The City of St. Martinville reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Requirements and provisions in the bidding documents are mandatory.
