The work consists of removing existing roof systems down to the existing roof deck, and replacing them with new insulation, coverboard, and a 90-mil EPDM (30-year warranted) roof system. Sealed bids will be accepted electronically through eVA or at the Virginia Community College System, Attention: Mrs. Sibyl Roberts, 300 Arboretum Place, Suite 200, Richmond, Virginia 23236. For shipping or mailing, use Suite 390; for hand delivery, use Suite 200. All bids must be received by 3:00 P.M. sharp on the specified due date. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud the next day at the same location. Hand delivery is supported on bid day at the stated location during regular business hours. All visitors must sign in at the virtual receptionist. Bids may be modified using the specified fax number and email. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security are required regardless of the bid amount. The bidder or offeror must be a registered vendor in eVA. The contractor must process all pay applications/invoices through the Owner's web-based project management software, e-Builder. There is no fee for using e-Builder, and support or training will be provided as necessary.
