The last day and time for submittal of written questions shall be no later than Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 8:00 am. Term of Agreement Substantial completion must be achieved within two-hundred and ten (210) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Final completion must be achieved within thirty (30) calendar days thereafter. Bid Security Any bid over $25,000 must be accompanied by a bid bond acceptable to the County. Bid bonds must be issued by a corporate surety registered and authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina. Bid bonds shall be payable to the County, shall be for at least five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid, and shall serve as a guarantee deposit that the bid will be carried out to the complete satisfaction of the County. In lieu of a bond, Bidder may submit a certified check or cashier's check in aforesaid amount payable in U.S. funds. General Description The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the Work found in Attachment A (Specifications_Miles Jamison Solid Waste Convenience Site Expansion) and Attachment B (Drawings_Miles Jamison Solid Waste Convenience Site Expansion) and as according to the terms and conditions found in the entire solicitation document. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing a solid waste convenience center that consists of the following: prefabricated attendant building, cast in place concrete retaining walls, paved areas (concrete and asphalt), yard waste and waste tire stockpile areas, utilities (electrical, water, sewer) and erosion control devices (sediment basin, channels, and culverts) and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents.
