Project Location. The project is located on the north side of C.R. 57 and approximately 700 ft west of North Florida Drive in Celina, Texas. The general location and orientation of this site is provided in Appendix A - Boring Location Plan - Figure 1. Project Description. Present plans provide for the construction of single-family residential structures. The proposed residences are anticipated to create light loads to be carried by the foundations. We expect the residences will be supported using slab-on-grade foundation systems designed for soil-related potential movements of 4_ inches. No below-grade slabs are planned. In addition, an amenity center is planned on Lot 1X-HOA of Block Z. The amenity center is expected to consist of a building with an associated swimming pool/pool deck. It is anticipated the amenity building will be supported using a slab-on-grade foundation system designed for post-construction movements of either 2 inches or 1 inch. The maximum depth of the swimming pool is expected to be 5 ft deep. Final site grading information for proposed amenity center structures were not available at the time of this geotechnical exploration. For purposes of this study, we have assumed final grades for the amenity structures to be within 3 ft of existing grade.
