This project will include the Construction of a fiber path between the Downtown WWTP and Legacy Hills WWTP. This path will connect multiple locations, including Legacy Hills WWTP, Legacy Hills Lift Station, Willock Hills Lift Station, Downtown Center, Parks Administration, Southeast Pump Station, Shawnee Trail East and West Lift Stations, Morgan Lakes EST, and Public Works Administration. All questions shall be submitted through online. The Project has an expected duration of 321 calendar days. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid, from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder must furnish performance, payment and maintenance bonds (two years) each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and be acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding conditions under which the work is to be done. City of Celina has adopted prevailing wage rates for Collin County and uses the most current listing.
