The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is soliciting bids for the installation of new fire alarm systems in the following buildings: Administration, Larches, Hemlock, Employee Home, Maple Lodge, Laundry, Car Wash, Supply Depot, Oak Hall, Water Treatment, Central Distribution, Westwood Storage Building, and the Chiller Building at Woodward Resource Center, 1251 334th Street, Woodward, Iowa 50276. Bids must be received by 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 5th, 2026. Bids must be submitted through the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System and include a Bid Security equal to 5% of the total bid amount, which may be a bid bond, cashier's check, or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept bids deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of both the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax and Davis Bacon Wages do not apply. Questions regarding the project must be submitted by 10:00 am on January 28, 2026. Substitute product requests must be received by 10:00 am on January 28, 2026, and will be considered per Section 01 2500 Substitution Procedures. An optional pre-bid meeting will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
