Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Work includes 2 watermain offsets, 1 watermain lateral, replacement of 5 sanitary manhole chimneys, frames, and covers, installation of 400 linear feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer pipe, 850 linear feet of 15-inch RCP storm sewer pipe, 150 linear feet of 18-inch RCP storm sewer pipe, 9 storm inlets with 72-inch diameter, 4,000 square yards of pavement removal (base bid), 8,800 square yards of pavement removal (alternate bid), 5,500 tons of base aggregate, 2,600 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 11,500 square feet of walk and drive approach, 8,800 square yards of 8-inch concrete pavement (alternate bid), 4,700 square yards of milling existing asphalt (base bid), 1,925 tons of HMA pavement (base bid), 4,310 linear feet of pavement markings, and 2,500 square yards of topsoil and sod. Scope includes related work in water utilities, sanitary sewer, stormwater improvements, pavement marking, excavation, concrete and asphalt paving, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, landscaping, erosion control, traffic control, ADA curb ramps, televising sewers, and associated utility and street improvements. Instructions for bidding require contractors to register and purchase contract documents in digital form from QuestCDN to be considered a plan holder and receive updates via the system. Registering is recommended for all prime contractors and subcontractors. Pre-qualification: Required.
