The City of Mobile is seeking bids for swimming pool chemicals. The City reserves the right to request samples of chlorine tablets to test dissolve rate. Vendors are required to furnish factory literature and specifications. Pricing must remain firm for a six-month period from the date of award. The award will be made on an all or none basis. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bid number and opening date clearly marked on the outside. Faxed or emailed responses will be rejected. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure their bid is delivered to and received in the Purchasing Department before the deadline. Bidders are also responsible for downloading and including any addendums with their bid response. All bids are F.O.B. Destination unless otherwise stated. Be sure to sign your bid. There is a prohibition on communication with City staff or elected officials regarding this bid, except as allowed with Procurement Department staff during authorized periods, pre-bid conferences, interviews, requests for clarification, and written contract negotiations. Breaking this 'cone of silence' may result in disqualification.
