Sealed proposals are requested for the Viking Room Renovation, which includes approximately 4,000 square feet of conference room space and restroom renovations. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Viking Room Renovation." Each bid must include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, and waive any informality on all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All bidders must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program and stating the bidder does not knowingly employ unauthorized workers. Compliance with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations referred to in the specifications is required. The project is tax exempt. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required for all prime bidders and strongly recommended for all subcontractors. All work for this project must be substantially complete by the specified completion date. Substantial Completion: All work for this project shall be substantially complete by August 10, 2026. The Project consists of the renovation of approximately 4,000 sf of multipurpose conference room space. Renovations also include a mother's room, small kitchenette, storage space, corridor space and restroom renovations.
