Provide complete design and construction services to replace the entire existing facility water piping system due to failures and deterioration. The project includes utilizing two city water line tie-ins and installing new piping with shut-off valves in properly sized valve boxes to support current needs and future expansion, routing the system to a central location designated by the VA. A small structure shall be constructed to house VA-required domestic water treatment equipment, including proper ventilation and temperature control to maintain the equipment. The work also includes disconnecting the water line from the campus loop so it serves only the parking garage, installing post-treatment piping with shut-off valves to multiple buildings across the campus, and tying into all VA Medical Center structures, with approximately eight building tie-ins.
